Frequently asked questions

Yes. Every person who enters needs their own passport and their own approval, including infants and children. A child cannot be added to a parent’s e-Visa.
Can I extend a Cambodia e-Visa after I arrive?
The stay printed on the approval is the time you may remain. A longer stay is a separate request to Cambodian Immigration after arrival. This application does not file an extension.
Can I work in Cambodia on a tourist e-Visa?
No. A tourist approval covers sightseeing, family visits, and similar short trips. Paid work needs the visa category and permits Cambodian authorities require for employment.
What happens if I overstay a Cambodia e-Visa?
Staying past the date on the approval can lead to a fine, questions at departure, and a delay leaving Cambodia. Leave before the stay ends, or ask Cambodian Immigration about an extension before it expires.
